printing a backplot session

Quickest way to do this would be to backplot your part with the "Save As Geometry" option enabled. To do this, go NC Utils | Backplot | Display. Then place a checkmark in the "Save As Geometry" checkbox. Now backplot your part and print the hardcopy. You may want to save this with a different file name. Hope this helps.

This topic was also discussed in the following thread, BTW:

I want to throw a suggesten out here.

just before you do this change the default color to a color you are not using so after you have done this , you can say for example.

"delete" "all" "color" type "12" or pick the color red.

so you dont keep all this extra geo on the screen.

I don't know if this works in m7 but in mastercam 8:

1) Have the hardcopy button on your toolbar. Or set a hot key.

2) From the operations manager turn on the operations you want to print. Pressing the T-Key will toggle them on and off.

3) Escape out of the Ops manager but stay in the toolpath section. Your paths should still be visiable.

4) press hardcopy button and print.

Bryan is correct. Remember that almost all commands can be accessed at any time with buttons and hot keys.

In fact you can use the same trick for hardcopies of Verify (truesolid only). You do have to have the system in "Shaded mode" which means you have to create a surface, turn on shading, then delete the surface (if desired). Run Verify in truesolids mode, and when you're ready, hit your hardcopy button (or hot key, or hit F10 and select File-Hardcopy). It also helps if you move the control box to the top of the screen.
