Surface PRojection problem

I have uploaded an MC9 file to ftp called, project-rad.mc9

From the top view I am trying to create a wireframe projection of the rads on one side only. In translucent top view you can see a yellow spline on the side I need the projection.It must project square down to the lower surface. I have been pulling my hair out on this one.

That's EXACTLY what Iwas trying to do.

Jim, all I did was create a parting line curve on the surfaces in the direction of projection you wanted. Then you can project the curves (xform squash) to the plane you need. Glad to help!
