I agree, but this is an established machine shop and part of why I invested the money I did in this system.

What would be a relevant measurable task in Mastercam that would test the performance of the videocard?

Large stock models and a file with 200+ operations using no filters. I have a project over 12 different Mastercam fields that has 2600+ operations. One of the guys did a file recently with 850 + operations. I have new one possible coming up that will be 1200+ operations. The file I sent the customer that fried their processor was 300mb with 12 different stock models and about 140 operations in it. 50+ 5 Axis operations and 20 different Opti-rough and Opti-Rest operations as well.
