Floating Zero format

Recommended Posts

Greetings All,

How do I get my post to post out the dwell in a floating zero format and not decimal? I tried to multiply the variable times 1000 but, it got angry with me. I've been using Camworks most of my career and to get convert it to floating zero, you multiply the dwell variable x1000

G82 P1000 <*** what I want***

G82 P1.0 <*** what I'm getting***

Thanks,

Doug

You change the fmt statement for that variable. Currently it is outputting it a 1.0 you need to change it to output that as 1000. Look at the fmt section and it breaks down what each fmt number does.

I got it. I found a response you had to someone else on the FMT values. It was 11 and changed it to 16. Now it posts in the floating zero.

Thank you for searching I have answered so many topics over the years I loose track of just how many and when along with how I answered them.
