Haas Lathe mismatch

Recommended Posts

I am getting some mismatch between a hex i am milling on the face of my parts and the holes I am putting in the front. I was wondering if there was a way to take all my positions I drill in my parts and add a full 360 of revolution to those parts to account for backlash?

So if my 1st drilled hole is supposed to be 5 degrees it then just becomes 365 degrees instead.

I would add a point toolpath before each machining path.

Position the spindle at C355 the start machining at C0  for each following toolpath

That should eliminate the C axis backlash, unless the machine is just completely worn out
