I'm new to Mastercam and have been using Cimatron for the last decade. What are some tips and tricks you guys use to save time and be efficient? We used templates to save processes , feeds and speeds for a fair amount of programming to save time and reduce risk. Is this available in Mastercam? ex. Threadmilling a hole. You save the procedures to spot, drill and threadmill together and bring it in a file instead of re-writing every time.

When you have a process developed that you are happy with you can export it and save it to an operations

library.

The next time you need that process you can import it into your new file
