Sharing PC

I’m used to being only 1 using PC for MCX - but I’m about to start sharing - the other person I’m sharing with has MCX  set up differently to me - to be able to switch to my own set up easily - do I just save a named config file in my name and load when I want to use ?

If you sent up a seperate Windows account for each user, their Mastercam settings will be stored in their individual My Documents folder

and each users settings will be retained

I really don’t want different users - just want to change to my own settings - but if I import my workspace - it defaults to that - how can you switch between different workspaces easily ?

Use a batch file would be the easiest way, you could have one for each user to copy their respective workspace to the my mastercam/config folder

This really is the best way to do it.

It's almost like having two separate machines.

Not even just with mastercam here. Once you start sharing a PC with someone else, you may quickly realize that you DO want different users. Just my experience

I wish you all the best rolling with a single user account, but I foresee a Québec split, and you never know who will become a séparatiste first.
