why is it that when posting out files(.nc) in operation manager with the mastercam editor,it doesn't open up the file but needed to go to file-open to open it for editing. can anybody enlighten me?

In Versin 8 there is a little check box that you need to check in order to have the editor pop up after posting.

In previous versions, you need to set "bug 1 to "2". That should do it.

Go to 'file - edit - pst' and set 'bug 1' to 2

(aprox line number - 128)

ngkim, in ver7 & above just set under "sceen"

"config" look under the "NC setting" tab.

For "Post setting" in ther check the boxs under "NC file" "edite" this will make it post to the editor now matter what post you are using.

My guess is that you are not using PFE32? If that's the case, your nc filename (and entire path) need to have no spaces in them. The pass through of the filename to the editor when launched does not fully support long file names. If you replace spaces with "_"'s you'll see the files pop up.
