HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question that may not be directly related to Mastercam. I am a cad guy / IT that takes care of mold makers computers more on the everyday problems. There is one user that when he is logged in himself the File/Get window does not fully appear. You can’t see the OK or CANCAL buttons. But, if I login as myself then the window is fine or if he logs in locally its fine???? So, I am really at a loss here?? I know he can double click on it and bring up the file. But, it is just not right. I tried re-installing Mastercam from scratch but that did not work either. ANY help would be much appreciated!!! Thank You,

Funky. Sounds like it could be related to permissions. Is this a Windows NT/2000 environment?

Yes, it is windows 2000. But, Why would that effect the window size????

a) Do you use a domain (have a server like Windows 2000 Sever)?

Do you have administrator rights?

c) Does the user have administrative rights when logged onto his computer locally?

Try the CNCREG utility to toggle between the Mastercam and Windows File Get dialogs.

Dave brings up a good point. I've seen systems that can only run the Windows dialogs and the Mastercam dialogs crash MC every time. Try that and report back
