O/T Brancusi Restropective

It's late Sun nite and here I go again with some late inspiring rants. My wife and I attended the Brancusi sculpture exhibit at the Guggenheim on such a plesant day in NYC and were very impressed. 'Impressed' is not the word, maybe 'awed'. He is an iconoclast. Broke all the rules of the Art Academy of his day and was ridiculed and trashed. But his scultures depicted the essence of things underlying their surface phenomena. So if you stare at his material replication of the essense of a child's sleeping head for instance you will gain great joy and happiness from understanding the devine essense of all things. I got to thinking how much I would love to dive into MCAM suraces and solid and maybe some Rhino and Artcam and start duplicating Brancussi's pieces which seem perfectly adaptable to 3D geometric primitive and natural form. Then CNC mill them in brass, bronze, polished wood, aluminum etc. By first studying the masters, you can then gain your own style. Are there any other like-minded souls here? Can anyone offer some advise on how and where to begin this journey?

"They are imbeciles who call my work abstract; that which they call abstract is the most realistic, becuase what is real is not the exterior form but the idea, the essense of things" Brancusi
