Dynamic Rotation

For some reason when one of my machinists posts a program and he goes back in the drawing to rotate it, it rotates verrrry stiff. This is a fairly good computer too. PIII 600Mhz, 192 MB RAM. I've adjusted the database allocations also for optimal performance, but am just stumped on this one! Every thing else in MasterCAM runs fairly smoothly and quickly. Unfortunately, the only way he can get the rotation to flow smoothly again is to exit out of Mastercam and enter back in again. I've also installed the lastes patches (8.1.1). Anyone have any ideas?

If your geometry has alot of entities like more than your dynamic is set for in screen-config it will bog down, but if your graphics card is not capable of rotating the amount alotted in a speedy fashion it will also bog down.

For any cutter paths I put on surface data, I usually save that file by itself with only surfaces and boundaries. The boundaries I put on a seperate level so I can turn them off. This makes rotation less difficult for my computer.

Just my thoughts.
