Buying a new wire EDM

I run an Agie Classic 2s and one Mits FX20K. These machines are completely different in just about everything. The Agie is a much better machine. It's very reliable, I still haven't had one missed wire insert. In two months! The mits threader is a mess and has been so since day one. Just a xxxxty construction. The Agievision control is very powerful and flexible and Agie's 3D-setup option is just wonderful. No more mitsubishi for me, that's for sure.

Mt,

Welcome to the forum

“No more Mitsubishi for me” was also my comments after our CX20 (that caught fire).

We ended up having a Mitsubishi FA20 and a Charmilles Robofill 440 for trial for 6 months. After 6 months we purchased the FA20 and added a FA10. I had never in my life imagined that dinki winkerli system on the FA could hold up. Now 2 ½ years later it is still unbelievable to me. We run all kinds of stuff, from threading throw .02 holes with .006 wire to .032 holes with .012.

PS. were are you in Sweden?
