  1. Hey guys. Buy AGIE, it's a state of the art-machine, but DON'T use MC to program it! The AGIEvision control is 20 years ahead of the japs but it's a mess with a bad camsystem. We used to run mits/mc and for mits mc works well. Now we have 2 new AGIE's, far better machines, but mc didn't work well enough for them. We bought TEBIS 2 weeks ago and I made sharp progs with it within a few hours. As far as I heard it's Peps, Tebis, D-cam, P-cam or Esprit that will work for AGIE's.
  2. Hi. Can someone please help us? How do we get the agie c-hook to read the stock dimensions from the job setup? Why can't we save technologies? Why isn't there any tabs (separation cuts) in the programs? Are there anyone that use mcx for the agievision control with good results? Maybe we're just stupid but every day is a mess with mastercam...
  3. I think our agie's can thread non vertical too but I've never tried it.

    mcx wire

We had our new AGIE installed today. Now we're just waiting for mcx wire..
  5. I hope McX wire has a better solution for Agievision, otherwise we will have to look at other systems. The new Tebis for wire looks really nice. I like Mastercam a lot for other machines but we will soon get our second Agie and we have to have something that really works.
  6. I use MC wire and there are a lot of wishes for the next version.. * They could take a serious look at the Agievision control. There are a lot of great things to "steal" there that would be wonderful to be able to use on other controls. Strategies (early/late), lotto, teccut etc. * It would be nice if there was a fast and easy way to get the cuts in the correct order when making a complex part with different types of cuts. The rough cuts first, then the tabs and finally the skims.. * 4 axis nocore * Automatic z-axis rise on tab and skimcuts. * Better interface for AGIE programming. The agievision c-hook is not very good.. And more...
  7. Hi. I use Mastercam wire 9.1 sp2 to program both AGIE and Mits. I would say that Mastercam works perfect on the mits and allmost perfect on the AGIE. There are a few things I haven't figured out yet... Anyone who have seen Mastercam x wire?
  8. I run an Agie Classic 2s and one Mits FX20K. These machines are completely different in just about everything. The Agie is a much better machine. It's very reliable, I still haven't had one missed wire insert. In two months! The mits threader is a mess and has been so since day one. Just a xxxxty construction. The Agievision control is very powerful and flexible and Agie's 3D-setup option is just wonderful. No more mitsubishi for me, that's for sure.
