Verify Problem?

I have put a file in the All_NC_programs folder called VARIFY_PROBLEM.ZIP.

 

When I run verify I get an extra operation? Where I'm seeing it is between operations 20 and 21.

 

Any help greatly apriciated.

Your tap Tool #18 is defined as having a diameter of 4 which is 4 inches its a 4mm tap.

I see. So all the other values on that page get to be in mm except that one?

You are using the imperial .cfg file. So all dimensions in tool parameters have to be inches.

Type in a diameter of 0.157" for the tap. Your program would be fine on machine its only in the Verifier you see it as 4". The Verifier uses the Tool diameter to display the tool.

OK, got that part fixed. Now, It's skipping the first three ops all together? This is new.

 

I think I'm just going to go home. I won't have a Foster's though, cause you say it's swill.

I'm wondering though. Why did it look like a facing op instead of a straight on plunge?

It looked like it because it was moving from 1 drilling point to the next thats all. Backplot the toolpath and you can see the moves. Have a look at the bottom of the screen as you step threw the toolpath you can see the X, Y, Z, co ordinates,
