Plotting problem.

I want to make a 1:1 scaled print out on Screen/next menu/plot. I m using windows driver and an HP A3 laser printer.

There is nothing wrong with the scale of the print out, but I cant print shaded surfaces. All surfaces are shown not shaded. is there anything that I can do? thanks for your support.

You have to remember that a screen-plot is meant to go to a pen plotter. No shading available.

If you want the shading I think you must convert your drawing into BMP first...

I dont want to make a print out from bmp cause the resolution of the drawing decreases. I have tried file / hardcopy , it works with my colour printer but, it doesnt works with HP laser 4v(black&white).

just for fun try "screen" Next Menu"To Clipbrd"

then create a window around the are you want.

then open say paint brush & past .

see if you can get a decent oicture from this.

now reading again this will not give you 1:1 scale. sorry.

but this is still really cool for webstuff and such.

remember that I have to make an scaled printing. ý can make a scaled printing by print screen.

So you are saying that you can make a scaled picture from print screen.

if you are saying this then i disagree.

it will only be a scale of the screen.

if you are not stating this please restat your thoght please.

Sorry a spelling mistake. I just wantted to say I cant make a scaled printing by print screen.

I want to make a shaded and scaled printing by mastercam. But I think its not possible.

Yes you can have a scaled plot of a shaded image.

First you add an harcopy icon to the toolbar.

Then you run the plot function to set the proper scale size, rather then hitting "Do it" from plot menu you jump into the hardcopy fucntion from the toolbar and with shaded turned on select "Do it" from there.

 

gstephens, the plot functions supports all printers and plotters with WinDriver set to Y
