MULTI PASSES HELP PLEASE

I USE MILL 7.2 WHEN I USE MULTI PASSES HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORK SO IT WONT CANCLE CUTTER COMP AFTER EVERY PASS I ONLY WANT IT TO CANCLE AFTER THE LAST PASS?

I don't know of any situation in multi-passes

that you couldn't cancel comp (I'm assuming you mean "in the controller") as long as you turned it back on before the next pass which should allready be happening automatically. Could you explain deeper your specific concern?

Under leadin/outs turn "Enter on first depth cut" and "Exit on last depth cut"

Works for Depth cuts and Multi-passes

With all due respect CTC, I tried this and the code looks dangerous. It works in the fact that it doesn't output a g40 till the end of the passes, but it eliminates all entry and exit radii except for the first entry and the last exit. this would scrap any part I'm working on. I think the answer lies in his post. I still don't see any reason you can't G40 at each end and 41 or 42 each beginning. I don't use controller comp as a rule but I have before and it didn't cause any problems like that.

There would be a way to edit the post to make it only cancel the CC at the end of all of the passes, but it's fairly involved and would not allow you to select multiple contours in a single toolpath.
