ANSI specifications

Where do you guys go for information on a particular ANSI spec? I am looking for data on an unusual size metric SHCS and figured i'd look at ANSI B18.3.1M, but can't find a place to get it. I can buy it, and I might, but I won't always want to spend money on a freakin standard. This is just an example. I'd imagine the answer to this example is in the Machinery's Handbook, but that's nut usually the case.

Is there a website I can use to access ANSI documents? Is there a "bible" I can buy?

What do you guys/gals do?
