Colin, I have the settings set to Solidworks defaults, except for I have Unified back / depth buffer turned off. My biggest annoyance is when offsetting a simple arc, the result will be invisible until I hit F3.

LOL @ Thad. I agree. Also how about distancing Delete and Suppress when right clicking Solid Ops in the manager. That one has burned me more than the Toolpath one.

Bash away at the new guy, but I agree Mastercam has some graphics issues. When customizing this latest PC during the ordering I was confident that getting the Quadro FX 3500 would get rid of some of the ones I experience. The way I use Mastercam it has to have quite a bit of CAD functionality. Quite often when I do a simple Xform Offset the created geometry is invisible until I hit F3. WTF? Also the chain arrow will occasionally disappear - especially if I am rechaining. My name is Jeff, if that is relevant to the topic.

This has been bothering me too. Another one of those "we added new functionality, but in the process f'ed up something else that used to work fine."

"Simulate Rotary Axis" seems to have no effect. It does nothing different whether checked or not. My co-worker did a side by side install, and for him MR1 acts like I'm looking for, but not MR2.

In MR1 when backplotting a 5-axis Multi Surface (set to 4 axis output) the tool axis would stay vertical and the part would rotate around the x axis. Since updating to MR2 the part stays stationary and the tool rotates around it. All of my backplot settings are identical. Anybody have any ideas?
