Verify on stl file ?

Ok, I've saved an stl file from the verify operation and would like to use it in verify for a different program. Problem I'm having is, I need to move the stock to a different location, and rotate it. Verify saved the file as lines only, no surfaces. I can import it to MC and manipulate it, save it as MC file, but can't verify on MC file. If I try to export it again as stl, I get the no surfaces selected error. I know I'm overlooking something here, just don't remember what! bonk.gifbonk.gif

Thanks guys that all worked fine, except that opon opening verify, I get the error, LW has found the stl to not be watertight, an approximation will be used. I get a rectangular block! The file was saved with triangle #'s enough to see the whole part. The file worked before manipulation.

Try searching this forum for WCS. If you create a different WCS for each machining position of your part, you can verify 100% and not worry about creating an STL from verified toolpaths. I found that info here and have been using WCS for 4-5 months and it works very well.
