  1. thanks a lot Mr. Bernie!very sorry i should give u a thank u in the present!
  2. please Bernie, can you put it on the FTP.thanks in advance
  3. does anyone have this chook for ver8.11?i can't seem to find one.
  4. actually we had mcamx but the boss would not allow us to use that's why i am asking for this utility
  5. is there a c-hook for middle mouse button zoom and first button dynamic rotate?this is mcam8.11
  6. there is no way it can display the coordinates if it is a O-M controlLER
  7. thanks colin,that's great!
  8. is there a convenient method whereby a customer just give me all his points(coordinates)in maybe an editor text, and i can just automatically input inside mastercam to get all the points out?this is mcam8.
  9. yes i would think so,without a lead in and lead out lines, the machine will alarm out even if you use arc in and arc out without any linear lead in or lead out.
  10. i would liked to know better how to use cutter compensation{mcam8}.eg. i would put a left in computer and also a left in control.then i would key in the wear values at the machine.for example a -0.02 mm in wear, this compensates per side.also in lead in/out parameter, entry and exit values shold be half the cutter diameter with tangential entry and exit .is that right?can anybody confirm?
  11. it's ok i have managed to solve it myself.
  12. do anybody knows this pindex stands for ,it seems i have this error "variable not defined:pindex"when post processing.
  13. there is also a g_wcs,but with a -1,there was no automatic posting of G54 only G90.this post is a generic fanuc post MPV8.1
  14. My post (fanuc default MPV8.1)even with a pwcs doesnt output any work offsets,i thought it will do automatically.now i am using a MI=2 for G54 output even though in my tool plane it was greyed out -1?!
  15. yep that's what happens to me too!but i posted it in a different thread, but i was asked to mind my save tools
  16. did u have your cutter enter at an angle?or with a straight line entry before cutter compensation takes effect.
  17. thanks for your reply Danbo, but what i would really liked was clicking the automatic feedrates/speeds gives me the mm/min correctly.
  18. can anyone know how to change the default feedratein the toolpaths to mm/min?it can be frustrating having feedrates of 0.5,0.25?
  19. When i imported a saved tool library from an mc8 file, how come the tool length no. was different to the tool no.,it caused a crash!and i broke a drill spindle!
  20. i will try all your suggestions and do a upcut with a small feedrate with multiple depth of cuts.i am also using cutter compensation as i don't want to keep running to the computer to change the program.but i am wondering if cutter compensation could be used,i am using a cutter almost as big as the hole,by the way the hole is dia.2.05(-0.01),i amusing 2 mm cutter.
  21. i have found out using canned text works perfectly!as suggested by Mike-T
  22. why is it holes, circle milled can't get correct to size specification.either i get one whereby the upper part of hole is too big,but bottom part pin gage no-go.one reason i could give is cutter tip part wear out.another reason cutter almost as large as hole,so feedrate is too fast for it to cut.anybody got any suggestions?
