I created a round in Autocad with the viewres poor. The round looked like a octogon. I then exported it in several .DXF formats and then brought them into M/C. M/C brought both files in looking good. So my first thought didn't work out.

If you analyzed what is being brought in does it say it's a diameter or a line segment?

My guess is that the arcs appear very small on your screen when the IGES file is first read in. We use a DisplayList to store the displayed points for each entity, and when an entity is very small when first drawn, it is saved with only a few points. We try to dynamically smooth this out when you zoom in, but if there's a big change in screen scale, they could still appear coarse. What I would recommend is zoom in on the part and then run Screen/Next/Regenerate - this will rebuild the DisplayList at the current screen scale. Hope this helps.
