OT: Waterjet

Hi,

I'm looking for a source for what I think would be a good waterjet job. I have 36 .020" thick rubber gaskets I need to produce in a hurry. They're about 6" x 1.5" and have some odd shaped holes/notches in them. It's something I could picture punching out with a steel rule die, but I don't have time to have one made.

Anybody do anything like this? These gaskets are 3 sets of 12. I wouls imagine sandwiching them together would allow them all to be cut in 3 setups.

If anybody is interested, I have prints and geometry (sldprt/slddrw) files available. Email me and I'll send them along.

Thanks,

Paul McGarr

Good advice! I especially like the graphics shop. I clean forgot about those. They got some really nice machines they use to cut stickers etc. Funny, when you see those kind of "end user" machines all our lastest and greatest CNC 50 axis milling equipment actually looks and works primitive.

Water jetting might be and expensive option, but good luck! It'll definitaly get the job done.
