Since I'm in a LARGE corporate enviornment I can only operate in the Windows system they (IS) provides. Anyway, a hacker admin and I illegally loaded net 1.1, took about 30 minutes on this 3 year old P3 PC, didn't help, probably get fired for loading it anyway. Then we ran the VB install program that no one told us about and VB now works!

Thanks for all the help!!!!

Sorry about that, Ron. My question was rhetorical but it didn't come across in my post and we don't have that graemlin available yet wink.gif The V9 VBS Editor is NOT managed. X itself is NOT mananged, but a few other things are (I'll leave that discussion for the beta forum) so yes, the .NET Framework runtimes will be required.

Mick is likely hard at work with the other devs getting X ready for all of those who are eagerly awaiting it, instead of hanging out here biggrin.gif

Well I found we he did is the only course of action on a machine that does not have net on it. If you get Maintence they need to put the net framework stuff on the Cd and have the installer check this fisrt before installing the Mr105 or X which I think X does but again for the other side but on this Side I will say to all going to Mr105 and t oall thinking better get it done before June15 or you will lose out!!!! Anyway if you have not kept your windows update to date then d othis before installing Mr105 and try to use VB side of Mastercam. The Net 1.1 framework is required before you can use this part of mastercam. You will run inthe same error this person did. It is not a common problm becuase most people keep thier boxes up to date but for those that do not this will be a problem. I just seen it myslef but knew what I needed to do becuase I am lucky enough to be a Beta tester so for those not I am hoping this shared imformation will help you not have the same avergation he did.
