Agie 100D Wire Post

Im getting ready to tackle my wire post. Was just wondering if anyone here is using MC to program an older Agie? So when I get in trouble I have an avenue out. My first step will be to copy the current post for a back up. Havent seen much Agie stuff here just wondered if anyone here used this type machine. It should be straight forward since most of what we do is mostly 2D work.

 

Question #1: Can you put the wire thread position anywhere you want. The reason I ask, Ive been using Espirit for about 5 years and switched to MC when we got our MC Mill and would like to change those programs from Espirit to MC and really dont want to redo all the start hole positions.

I'd suggest trying the MPWAGIE.PST that comes with v9.1

 

And Yes, you can put the Thread Point position just about anywhere you wish.

I have used Agie posts for years, and have used Mastercam's MPWAGIE.PST to work some custom changes. If I can be of any help, please e-mail me and I will do what I can.

Thanx LNDCAD, I will keep you in mind. I have a 100d (older Agie, early 90s)Mode 6. Dont know if your familiar with it or not. Hopefully I can get started on it in a couple of days.
