hey guys. not sure if anybody knows how to do this. i'm trying to add a thin sheat of plastic to a pattern. its shaped like a cone that has the top cut off(9.375dia. x 8.625dia x 1.925high). does anyone know how to convert the dimensions to cut it out on a flat surface like a sheat metal worker would? smile.gif

I use the FLATSRF.DLL

works like a charm wink.gif

With the dim's you gave, you should end up with approx:

Big arc= 24.514 (chord length of 27.712)

Small arc= 22.553 (chord length of 25.495)

2 legs 1.961 long

This is all to the 'mean'of the mtl. (middle of the material thickness)
