Autocad wireframe to Mastercam problem

Greetings!

And help!

I'm having trouble bringing a wireframe created in Autocad 2002 into MC. All entities in the XY plane translate fine, but curves in the YZ & XZ orientation become scattered. Saving it through a 2005 version of Acad did not help either.

Anybody have any ideas?

What type of curves -polyline?

I started with a serch, but could not find a solution. Dumping Autocad if out of the question.

 

Iskander-

The curves are simple arcs, however only the arcs in the orientation described get misplaced.

 

Also, exporting IGES from Autocad is not working either.

I remember some stuff about this before. Is it block data? Try to explode before exporting.

What version of Mastercam are you using? This sounds like something we've corrected a while ago.

It is not a block, just a wireframe of a curved molding.

Thanks Pete. Check your email last saved the aca file in 2005. I've been bringing other geometry in and it's been working great as long as the curves are in the XY plane.
