Hi 1

Please ! some one tell me Is there any way the leter I and J to R (radius) ? Any time when I posted G02 or G03 on mill mode MC 9 gave me the leter I and J instead R for the size of radius .

If I have .5 radius , after post mc 9 gave I0 ,J.5 , OR I-.5 , J0

Most recently machine used letter R ( for radius)

How can I change it ? any help will be great of my appreciation .

Victor which post are you using and for what machine?

There should be a line in your post that looks like

quote:

arcoutput : 0 #0 = IJK, 1 = R no sign, 2 = R signed neg. over 180

That is what needs to be changed

Victor I don't have the MPHaas post infront of me so I'll go out on a limb for a minute. I assume the Haas post being so similiar to the Fanuc's post, that the line everyone has mentioned must be in the post.

For starters you might want to double check it.

If you don't find it you may want to download the mpmaster post available on this site and see if that can give you what you need.

Victor.

To edit a post, open MasterCam, select "File", "Edit", "PST" and then select your post processor from the list (should direct you to the C:Mcam9MillPosts directory). You would be looking for MPHAAS.PST

"arcoutput" should be found under the "General Output Settings" section in the post processor.

If you don't find the MPHAAS.PST file, you need to locate it on your hard drive and move it to this directory. MasterCam must be set to "find" the post processor in its current location. The "Posts" directory is the default location.
