Solid Translator Problem

Hi

I have a problem with solid tranlator.

I draw a part in solid model by using Mechanical Desktop. After that, I export the part into Mastercam by using SAT file. I got the part in Mastercam, every thing looks fine. But I can't shade the part as a solid and I also can't machine or program the part in solid toolpath. I don't know what a probem is. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Please post the sat file if you can on the ftp.

If you hit the Sigma button, "Σ" on the bar. Does it say there's a solid?

Maybe a stupid question but here goes ... have you purchased Mastercam Solids?

now if he didnt have solids wouldnt he just bring them in as surfaces and he could shade them.

As i no and actully i am going tose this right now this is how it should work .

I am going to turn off my solids.

 

Findings:

I turned of soilds converted a SAT and it shades out the solids option and brings it in as surface with wire.

But still was a good thought simtech.
