I decided to go ahead and modify the "generic 4 axis" post rather than updating to take advantage of some of the new features and to help me in doing some housecleaning that had to be done with the old post that I have been using. Not much really had to be done, but as always, I want to change a few things that are bugging me.

 

1 - Outputting the machine name. I like this feature, but I hate how it puts it after EVERY toolchange. I know that it is controlled by the pcomment2 line...but I cannot simply comment this out after every toolchange because that would mess with my manual entry comments (operation comments too) I would just like this to be output in the header only.

 

2 - Also in the header, I would like to have it say if the program uses rigid tapping or not. Tough thing here is I don't want it to say anything if there is no tap in the program.

Call your reseller to help you with the post.

You'll have to email them all of your files, this is easy to do. They usually have a post guru that can edit your post to your liking. First thing to do though is get them on the phone.
