Create Line Tangent

This is a command that I use very often. In 9 the angle and length prompts always defaulted to the last value that I input. In X they can be locked by clicking the length and angle buttons and making the boxes turn red. This works fine in Top C-Plane, but in any other C-Plane, regardless of whether in 2D or 3D I can't make the angle stay locked the same. It works fine on the first line, then the value jumps to something else. What am I doing wrong?

I see what you mean. Seems to default back to 0 degrees even when it's locked.

Tangent is automatic, if your using Autocursor. For those of you that dont like using the Autocursor, Pick the button. That's the difference between Automatic and Manual operation

Tangent stays locked, but the angle won't.

jctjct... I don't know what I just did, but I got it to work.

 

After trying to duplicate what I had done.... Nope. It's back to what it was doing.

 

I initially started drawing lines tangent in the top view (3d) and switched to right side while not exiting the function and it continued to work right, but now it goes back once I exited the function.
