Idea for regenerating toolpaths

I have often wanted a feature like this in Mastercam and wonder if it would be possible to do it.

 

In edit common para's page, would it be possible to have an "all surfaces" or "all solids" button that would select drive surfaces for all checked ops?

 

Also why couldn't your chaining boundaries be associative to each op via a number?

 

Anyone see where I am heading with this?

I see where you're going...

 

I usually drag and replace or add geo. from one op to another.

Yeah .....so you could tell multiple ops to use same geo without the add/replace from one to the next. Would be cool.

You could delete all the geometry in a file, merge other geometry and toolpath regen could become automated.

 

If an op had a boundary ID that wasnt there, auto regen would just skip that op...

 

Files with 100 ops would be sooooooo easy to regen when you edited the geometry....
