Win2k & Mcam users

I just (logged in as administrator) created a profile for someone else and even though I gave them administrative privileges when I opened mastercam as that user all the stuff in mill8m.cfg file returned to defaults. I didn't check anything else for defaults because I had to get something done and didn't have time to play. Can anyone explain this concept and is there one file in admin. profile I can copy to the new user profile that will keep all my defaults?

heh, had this problem myself, it seams the MasterCAM config files are user specific

Ive not dug into the depths of this problem yet, but you may need to locate where Windows puts the user specific files (im guessing they will be somewhere within the profiles) and move them from the user directory into the all users directory, and then make sure mastercam is configured to point to the all users directory to look for those files..

whatever the solution, if you find it let me know, cos it will save me some time
