Change side of chain

I want to change the side of my chained line that the cutter cuts on. In V9 I would right click on the chain and then click "Change Side".

 

In X, I right click on the chain, but there is no "Change Side" selection.

oops,now i see what you are looking for,looks like it is gone....

There is a shaded arrow and an orange arrow pointing the opposite way in the pop up. Click on the arrow and it changes sides.

I think those arrows just reverse the chain, it doesn't cut on the opposite sid eof the chain.

I'm talking about after it's been chained and backplotted, I see a problem and need to change sides:

 

 

In V9 there is a "Change Sides" selection in that menu.

If your tool is on the opp side of the chain, you can reverse chain keeping your tool ie. left and the tool should be on the opposite side.

I think what you have to do is actually go into the operation parameters and just select right instead of left(or vise versa).

You reverse direction ,IOW climb to conventional and vice versa .

As I see it ,you can only rechain the chain ,no other way in this situation

Reversing the chain when there is only one chain selected does not change the side of the chain. If I add a second chain, then reverse, it will change the side. I remember the same thing would happen in V9, however it did have the selection in the drop menu to change the side which would work on a single chain.
