importing operations

I am a user that makes heavy use of the importation of operations from custom libraries. I am missing the oportunity to edit the tool while in the library. It seem that all the tools don't get listed. Comments?

I'm not sure I completely understand what it is you're asking.

 

Are you trying to edit your tool library and have your imported operations update with the new changes?

 

All of your tools, as long as you have saved them into your library are able to be accessed thru the tool manager.

 

If you create a new tool in an operation and do not save it into the library it does not exist in the library and is only editable thru the operation in which it was created.

this is as I suspected. In v9 you were able to edit the tools because the operation library appeared as an part operation list

When you exported an operation. The tool information (especially custom geometry info)went with it. It appears that this is still the case now. but, in v9 you were still able to access that portion of the tool info and You weren't required to also save the tool. This is what I am lamenting

While don't you save operations with those tools already in them. That will save you the editing time. It is, afterall, what the ops library is for.
