Did you install the HTML setup sheet from an account with Administrative rights on the local computer?

I'm getting crashing on some lathe files as well - it's to do with the Metafile.dll C-Hook and DoMetaFile VBS command. Try running the C-Hook stand alone. Crashing?

 

Try stock_img : 0 to disable the screen cap.

my html.psb and .set went to c:/mcamx/mill/posts is that right? my IT administrater did the installation for me.

the metafile.dll did work ok as a c-hook it prompted me to save in the data folder.

I got around that particular problem by modifying the "sroot" line in the html.set file.

 

My install directory was not C:mcamx

 

Is yours?

I would think that if you post from .PST files that are on a network drive, you would also have to copy the html.set and html.psb files there as well.

right click on your desktop Mastercam X shortcut->Properties

 

if the Target location is "C:mcamxmastercam.exe" you should be good.

 

If your IT guys are particular, then they might have installed to "C:Program FilesMcamxmastercam.exe"

 

If they are paranoid lunatics and stripped away your ability to right-click on things.. you'll have to get them to find it.

 

Change the Root Mastercam location in the .set file "sroot c:mcamx", to the location where the mastercam.exe actually is.

ok it's all spec'ed out right but still won't execute. I think I'll uninstall and reinstall.
