Just a thought;

When I work with the level manager, there is one thing I really miss...The ability to "Multi-edit"...

That is, I would REALLY,Really,really like to be able to edit MANY layer descriptions at once...

Am I asking too much? I don't know.

Just to further clarify, I want to select all 30 layers that containg my fixture geometry, and type "FIXTURE" in the level set box, and have it fill in ALL 30 places at once. biggrin.gif

gti_jay,

You don't have to name then first. Export a single named level, then open it with excel.

Number the first few rows 1 - 5 in excel then drag them down and it will number the rows sequentially. In the names column, I named them "." Again do the first few the same and drag and drop them down to the last numbered column and they will all rename. Save the file

Now you can import your named levels with generic names and just rename as you need.
