Tool List

I have a problem. I want to receive Tool List for work such as in MC9.

Tool paths/ToolManager/import/export tool/Report File. Tool List it turns out bad, it cannot be used for work. How to receive Tool List such as in MC9 ?

I'm guessing you are asking for X. If this is true go to toolpath at the top of the screen, Tool manager, right click in the part tools at the top of the tool page, import/export, report file.

Thanks Steve, I know to get there. The problem is not that I can't get there but is that I can't get the certain format of the tool list: format of a Tool List.txt is not what I want. Instead of the odered list of the tools what I get is the mess. I should edit it. I want to receive tool list in the good format. Try to make tool list and you will see what I mean.

Are you looking for the graphical setup sheet that will list the tools used with pictures from the operations manager?

is there a graphical tool list beyond the HTML setup sheet for purchase. Similar to the V9 ones?

Yes there is

 

Settings >> configuration >> toolpaths

 

Setup sheet program >> change it to GUI

I may be mistaken but the default in 9 was gui and in X it is .set.

After changing the setting in the config go to operations manager right click and setup sheet toward the bottom of the list. click the tool button and it will display tools or operation data with picture.

Steve, no, the default in X was .set as it is in X. You can change it to GUI as stated above.

 

The same GUI setup sheet that was available in V9 is available in X. I'm using it.

Can you edit the gui setup in X or does it run the same as 9? I haven't messed with it much.

Please, receive tool list in MCX. Tool Manager/Import-Export Tool/Report Tool. Format of file incorrect. In MC9: NC Utils/Def.Tools/Current Tools. Format of file correct.

What format output are you looking for?

 

I just checked it V9, your output was a .doc file.

 

In VX, I can only get a .txt option on both on report file and detail report file. It seems if you are looking for a different output format you might be stuck.

In VX Tool List.txt it is impossible to read. All is mixed. I can not use such file for work.

What are you using to read the .txt file notepad?

Cimco? or something else?

I opened a file the different editor: PFE-32, Cimco, Notepad, Mastercam. It does not help - a problem remains.
