Is this a print problem

Printed out a layout and closed MCX still with the layout on the screen. MC said it had a problem with saving the file and closed down on me. then when I went to open file again " This is not a mastercam file and is not in any format recognised by mastercam." lost the lot. I think I still have it on another computer as a MC9 file. but not very funny.

Anyone had this happen or is it just me again....

Did it save it as a .mcx file? or a different extension?

It saved it as an mcx file yes.

Sorry George, dunno what to tell you.

 

I have had that happen with two Mcams running at once in V9. It made me start using the auto backup every 15 minutes. I make it write backup.mcx, so if something bad happens I can get back to where I was.
