Selection Window problems

If I use the selection window when selecting geometry to do a toolpath the window for some reason snaps to the top left corner of the graphics window instead of where I pick. This happens intermitantly and usually corrects itself if I move to another part of the screen and try again. But if you select and unselect this way over and over you will find that the window on many occasions still snaps to the top left corner of the screen. This is a pain when you are delicately trying to select or deselect geometry by window on the fly once editing a toolpath. It also happens on both seats of X we have in the office. Anyone else had this problem?

I frequently experience the same problem when making a selection using a dynamic window. I am glad to know that I am not the only one. I wandered if my mouse was causing the problem, however replacing it made no difference. While this is not a major problem, it is certainly frustrating at times.

Hey Jay, Its funny how with X that you are actually relieved when you hear other users are having the same problems

I even tried a different video card I thought it fixed it but after the 3rd window it snapped to the corner of the screen again.

I have had a few selection window problems with xform operations it snapped off the screen most of the time to the lower left.

 

The work a round for this was to preselect the geometry.

Same problem here. I talked to my reseller about it at least a month ago and he said he never heard of that problem yet, so assumed it was my mouse as well. Hope they fix this with the next update, if it's a bug.

I get it frequently. If I hit escape once and try again hit escape again and then try it usually corrects itself.

 

Funny... during the roll out seminar they said no more esc key slamming.
