Point toolpath using Visible tool drag ????

In the toolpath point option, It would be nice to PRE-select a tool to visually drag from point to point. And if Mastercam can already do this tell me how. I use this point to point drag the tool around on other systems. For example drag & modal copy an endmill dia with center point so you can visually steer the cutting edge for better

results.

Mastercam does not have "Mouse Machining." You can use the "Point" toolpath with the cursor selection in sketch mode to obtain approximately the same idea. Whether or not this will ever be an option I can't say, but my opinion is that it won't since Mastercam is dimension driven software (I like it that way). Free hand toolpath generation, IMNSHO, goes against all of the automatic toolpath development that CNC Software has spent years creating, improving and perfecting.

The term "Mouse machining " Best discribes what i,m talking about. Drag copy in Sketch mode is what i,m doing now. Sometimes an odd ball piece of stock requires"freehand" user custom Point to point ,And at times a lot quicker too!
