Having strange problems with V9 since installing X

Has anyone else seen strange behavior with V9 since installing X? I have some files that I have used over and over for different machines and now they open with gobs of corrupt entities not brought in. I have a 2-d engraving file where I pocket the letters and have re-used this file a dozen times and now the chains won't close for the pocket to work no matter what I try. I ahve also notice other strange things like groups disapearing when I am editing the toolpaths and regen. Now what may have been 10 operation groups are all in one big group!!!

BTW....the same file won't close chains in V X either...

What happens if you loosen up on your chaining tolerances a tad?

Yes Tommy I have had the same problems with corrupt entities and also the operation groups disappearing and all prgs lumped into one group. Also had corrupt entities opening V9 files in X.

I have tried loosening up the chaining tolerances with no luck. It is almost like there are overlapping lines now that were not there before.

You might check the chaining options and make sure their isn't a color mask on or something. I've had the color mask stick on me and can't get it to turn off. Very frustrating when chaining and the chaining won't close because the color mask is on.
