peck drill speed

Hi all,

please help ,I am lost.

Dont know if update 3 changed my setting or is only Me. feed rate speed is always diferent (faster) than feed rate set in my parameters.

v9 with same settings does it rigth, any ideas?

Where are you setting your speeds and feeds from, material or tool?

from there it goes down faster.

I found the problem, now how can I fix this?

 

my post is only producing rapid moves G0 vs G1.

I would verify that sg01 is set to G1 or G01 in the post.

Are you posting long hand peck drill cycles? Mill/Lathe?

 

Is there a clearance (not the operation clearance) setting in the peck parameters that might be at 0.0?

Is this a lathe post? Probably not because of the XY position but i Had to ask.

 

If it is there may be a switch inside for drilling in long hand.

Is there a reason why you aren't using canned cylces? What kind of machine is it that you are posting too?

good question, I ask that my self.

it is a post someone long time ago custom made for us, for a old fanuc 6m .

it was ???working ... till I ? changed or set the wrong parameter.

looks like we are in need for a updated post.
