Boundry not in cplane

Okay, I'm confused here . I created an arc and the proceeded to do a pocket routine. It says that the boundry does not lie in the construction plane. I'm pretty sure the the boundry is in the construction plane. What do I need to do to get out of this cycle.

Make sure your T & C planes are correct and that your WCS is in the correct orientation for the operation you are attempting to do.

I just finished doing three different operations on the current WCS, C and T planes. I created a arc so I could pocket it out and all of sudden it says the boundry is not in the c-plane?????

Could be, I've seen that lil' red arrow change ny views and do some other crazy stuff. So is it possible, unfortunately I say yeah it is.

 

 

I believe the arrow doing scwewy things is supposed to be addressed in the upcoming MR.

Try at the top:

screen, Combine views.

See if it moved any arcs to a new view. I had cut a pocket like that the other day and it wouldn't cut my pocket right with one of our post proccessers and it came out right with another post processer. No rhyme or reason either.

HELP! I have try recreating the WCS to a new cordinate and it is simply not letting me attach a tool path to any thing. I've been successful at using the WCS since it was introduced in V9. But now I cannot do anything with it. Bondry is just not in the cplane but I know it is.

Can you put your file up on the FTP?

Here is another Idea, maybe you have something squed(sp)

 

Try to project it all to the right plane and make sure everything is on the same z height.

I have the file on the ftp site in the MCX folder under- prelim rect pump base.

 

The green arc is the one I'm trying to pocket, since the model has a hole in the pocket geometry, I created a arc to bypass the hole. Take a look and see what I'm doing wrong.

I just went to the bottom the screen and clicked plane and clicked top and then it let me chain it.

 

Don't know why the displayed plane did not change but it did work.

Ive seen this a lot in X. Did you close and re-open X then check the Cplane of the Operation?
