Set up sheets in MCX

I want to print up some simple set up sheet for my set-up guys. But when i click on set up sheet i get pages of unwanted information(to much detail). Is their a way i can modify what information MCX spits out when i click on set-up sheet?

There are a couple of different set up sheets have you tried them to see if you can get what you need from one of them.

 

Also if you do a search there is a thread, recent with a little utility you might find handy from such things X setup sheet

Here is the link to X+ setup sheet. Works great. One page, picture of part, fields you can edit, toollist and many varibles to select from your operations to be included in your setup. Very customizable.

I prefer the Mill2.set personally. Mill2.set is a less cluttered set-up sheet that comes standard with Mastercam X.

 

Alternatively you can also right-click in the Operation Manager and select "Doc File..." for a tool list by Op.

 

Using the "Doc File..." method allows for control of the save location before creation.

 

.SET files are similar to .PST files, so if you can modify a .PST, with a little research, you should be able to modify a .SET.

How do you set up the x+ setup sheed to give you a good screen shot of the part?

 

I keep getting part of my toolbars in the file that is created. What am I doing wrong here?
