air (M07) in tool parameters

I would like to know if there is a way to add air into my tool parameters, or change the existing mist to air. Thanks for any help.

Nate,

You would make the change in the MILL8.TXT file

This will change Mist -> Air in the Coolant

drop-down list on the operation parameters screen.

Find this line -> 8332. "Mist"

and change to -> 8332. "Air"

Of course you would also need to alter your Post

to output the proper AIR code. If using MPFAN.PST

you alter the string select value ->

You're limited to 3 coolant on codes - Flood, Mist, and Tool.

To change Mist to Air, modify your V8 Mpfan style post as follows:

If you want to change the menus throughout the Mastercam interface for all machines to read 'Air', you need to modify Mill8.txt.

If you want only to changes the menus throughout the Mastercam interface for only one machine, change that post's .txt file. Add these lines:
