major post issues

I have 3 post for 3 differnet machines. none will turn on coolant. All add 30 to tool # for length and dia offset. For haas tool# length and dia should be same

For kurt tool# & length same dia add 20

older okuma tool# and length same always D32 for dia offset.

go into your control def.. tool..and change your tool offset register to what you need for each post.

 

I don't know aboutthe coolant issue.

First I will assume you have coolant active in the operation.

 

You need to check your general Machine parameters to see how your coolant is setup. If your posts are updated from V9, then you want to make sure that "Support coolant using coolant value in post processor" is active. This will make the coolant optiosn in X work just like in V9. This option is on the coolant page of the General Machine parameters.

 

If this is unchecked and your POSTS have NOT been modified for the new X format, then you will not get any coolant output.

 

This is jsut a guess. And someone may need to see your posts and MD/CD. You may want to contact your reseller for some additional help.

here was the problem the file got corrupted. I reprogrammed it from scratch and my old post work fine. thanks for trying to help me.
