Perhaps a computer forum?

Webmasters and administrators;

What do you think about a "computer related" forum? You can't run mastercam without a computer, and a decent percentage of topics in the mastercam forum are computer specific. Creating a "computer related" forum would certainly attract many non-mastercam using computer gurus that could provide valuable info on configurations, registry tweaks and hardware hot rodding that would increase the performance of Mastercam users computers. One vote yes from JAMMAN.................. biggrin.gif

Computers were allot less complicated in October of 2000. I'm thinking the wisdom of people that would not comment on Mastercam topics (which comprise the majority of current topics) because they don't care about cad/cam or machining but have been setting up hi performance systems since birth could be a wealthy addition to us users (quite a few of the regulars) that do adjust their systems but because of their jobs do not have time to experiment. Before this forum I was a regular on a now defunct computer forum that taught me "stuff" that I apply to mastercam DAILY.

CanTek usa. It was a wealth of information with regulars including Leo Leport himself. Bill Canton, the owner of CanTek started an internet hosting company at http://www.i1internet.net and sold CanTek. The current owner killed the forum and it doesn't look like it's coming back. I believe this to be accurate info.
