mazak dnc again?

The old computer took a crap and now the new one won't dnc with the m32 control. It will load a program but only till the buffer is full then it kicks it out. I don't think its machine related but maybe a computer setting, but not sure. Any help would be great the machine is getting severly backlogged now.

Gary,

probably the faster FIFO buffers of the new PC. Go to 'Control panel' - 'System' - 'Device manager' - 'Ports'. Right click Com1 and select Properties. Go to 'Port settings' - 'Advanced' and turn down or off the FIFO buffers.
