V9.1 subprogram. abs. to inc.

Good morning all.

 

I'm trying to post a subprogram from a contour wirepath. If I post only the contour (no sub), it posts absolute. If I post the transform as a sub, it posts as incermental.

How do I get it to post absolute? Is this a post issue or a setting I've missed?

Setting, look through your check boxes on the Type and Method tab.

I've tryed all possible settings in Type and method. In all cases, if I uncheck subprogram in the contour operation it posts the transform in abs, Check sobprogram, it posts inc.

 

Kinda makes my head hurt.

go into your wire parameter, click the misc values, put a 1 in misc interger in the first column on the top left and repost.. tell me if thats what you want.

Thanks Kannon, but it still posts a G91 in the sub.

Their is a size advantage of using incremental in the sub program. It will only generate 1 program. If you use absolute and you are transforming sveral times then you will have several different subprograms.

 

As far as why yours keeps coming out in incremental I'm stumped. Right under the subprogram (when selected) there is an option for incremental or absolute and that always works for me.

I am sorry.. it should be the third one down left column.. put a 0 in that one instead
