I've been trying to pallet change on an ec 400

but I haven't been sucessfull does anyone know if

I have to put an extra code besides the M50?

Usually you need to send it to Second Zero Return (G30) for X, Y and Z. B axis must be home as well.

 

M60 is usually the Pallet CHange Command but then again, each machine is different in that respect.

M36 P1

M36 M50

 

 

the M36 P1 line checks for the correct pallet number, the P1 is the pallet number so you could have it as P2 for pallet 2. I used it all the time at my last job. We had 3 ec-400's and a

hs-1 the hs uses Q22 and Q23 for pallet numbers.
